What happens if I am in another province and cannot travel?
We will take you through the whole application without a physical consultation. It does not matter where you reside or which court attended to your sequestration, we can assist you throughout South Africa.
Do I have to appear in court?
The rehabilitation process is a High Court application that does not require you to be physically present in court.
What is expected from me to bring a rehabilitation application?
Your rehabilitation will be conducted by experienced lawyers and/or advocates who will draft and finalize the application and bring the application before court on your behalf. You will however be required to depose to an affidavit to be used in support of your court application.
Will my application for rehabilitation be successful?
Should you qualify and should we proceed with an application to court we are quite confident that your application will be successful however, the final decision does lay with the High Court.
How long does this process take?
The application will never take less than 6 weeks but it should not take longer than 3 months. Time frames will vary between the different High Courts throughout South Africa.
How will I be informed of the progress of my application?
We will keep you updated throughout the process by way of electronic correspondence.
